I see your point, Levi. Politicians use a lot of different tools to manipulate people, and I was really just talking about one (because if I had to write an article about all of them, we might be here all day.)

And yeah, Romney’s argument definitely played a big part in his victory. I also definitely think the audience picked up on how enthusiastic Romney was, and how tired Obama looked.
